Steam cloud does not synchronize - it can be because of that
With the Steam Cloud, you can access your games and saves from anywhere. But what to do if the service is not synchronized? We'll tell you the answer in this game tip.
You can do that if the Steam cloud isn't syncing
- First check whether the synchronization is switched on for the respective game. To do this, right-click on the respective game and select "Properties". Check whether the "Steam Cloud" field is checked.
- The Steam servers may also be overloaded at the moment, which is why saving is currently not possible. Please try again later.
- Make sure you have a constant internet connection. Down- or uploads or other people on the Internet can sometimes drastically limit the speed.
- You should also check whether Steam is blocked by your firewall or antivirus software. If you have any doubts, you can briefly switch them off.
- Check if there is an update for Steam. To do this, go to the official website and compare the versions.
- As a last option, you can perform a complete new installation. However, keep in mind that your saves will be lost.
