Steam error 41: how to fix the problem
Steam error 41 often has a problem with the game files. The games "F1 2013" and "F1 2012" are particularly often affected.
- Start Steam and go to the library.
- Right-click on the game with error 41.
- Select the "Properties" in the context menu.
- A new window is opening up. Here you navigate to the "Local files" tab.
- Select the "Check game files for errors ..." option to have Steam repair the game.
- Restart your computer and open Steam and the corresponding game again.
Fix error code 41: Reinstall Steam
If it still doesn't work, you should reinstall Steam and all games.
- To do this, download the current Steam version from our download area.
- Download and restart the previously inoperable games.
- If it still doesn't work, repeat the instructions in the first paragraph.
