Steam Link: Install and set up Kodi - Here's how
Steam Link has a lot to offer - and not just games. Learn how to install and set up Kodi below.
Install Kodi
- Kodi, the former XBox Media Center, must be installed on the desired computer before you start Steam Link. You can find the required file in our CHIP download area.
- Now open Steam. Under the "Library" tab you will find the "Add game" button at the bottom left. Click "Add non-Steam game" and then click "Browse".
- Now you will see a smorgasbord of all games and apps. Select Kodi from these. The program will now be added to your library.
Use Kodi via Steam Link
- Now activate Steam Link and select the computer on which you have installed Kodi.
- There you will find Kodi in the library.
- It is also recommended to adjust the controller settings accordingly. However, this is not absolutely necessary.
- Youtuber "GadgetsXray" explains exactly how to do this in a video.
