Steam: reinstall the game - how it works
If you bought a game on Steam and it was already plugged in, you can simply reinstall it if you have any problems. We show you step by step how to do this.
Reinstall games in Steam
- Start Steam, go to the library above, and search for the game you want there.
- Right-click on it and select the "Delete Local Files" option.
- In this way, all settings and saves are removed. If you want to keep this data, just skip the step.
- Then open the Control Panel and uninstall the game like any other program. You will find suitable instructions in a separate article and the video below.
- Then restart Steam and click on the "Install" button on the game you just removed. The game will now be reinstalled.
Note: If this doesn't solve your problem, you can reinstall Steam. This article is based on Steam v017.
