Steam: share games - how it works
With the new Steam family library, you can easily share your games with others. You can find out how to do this in this practical tip.
This is the Steam family library
The Steam Family Library lets you share your library on up to ten different computers and authorize five different accounts to play your games:
- In order to play a shared game, you must be online.
- Some games, such as games that require a third party account, cannot be shared.
- A shared game can only be played by one user at a time. A game owner always takes precedence over the game. In this case, the other user receives a message and has a few minutes to finish the game.
- In addition, you can access the DLC's of the released games. However, you cannot purchase DLCs for shared games.
