You can exchange trading cards even faster using the trade URL or trading URL in Steam. In this practical tip, we will tell you how to find and even change the URL.
Steam: Find your own trade URL
Every Steam user has an individual trade URL. You can share your own Steam address with friends and acquaintances, so that they can invite you to a trade with just a few clicks. Before you can see your URL, you have to meet a few requirements:
- First you need to activate Steam Guard for your profile.
- To find other Steam players, you need to make your profile public.
- Then open the Steam client on your PC and click on your Steam name at the top and then on "Profile".
- In the right column, click Inventory.
- Then select the entry "Trading bids" and decide on the right for the option "Who can send me trading bids?".
- In the "Third party sites" section you can view, copy and share your personal trade URL with other users.

If you don't like your current trade URL, you can change it at any time:
- To do this, start Steam and switch back to your inventory.
- There you click on "Trade bids" and then on "Who can send me trade bids?".
- At the very bottom you will find the button "Create new URL". Click on it and enter your desired address.
- Afterwards, other players can make trading offers via the new URL.
