Connect the stereo system to the television - so it'll work
If you connect your stereo system to your television, you will get great sound at the next movie night. This guide shows you how to connect the TV and stereo system.
Connect the television and stereo system with a jack plug
The easiest way to connect the two devices is if your stereo system has a 3.5mm jack.
- Plug an AUX cable (3.5 mm jack to 3.5 mm jack, approx. 2 euros) into the headphone output on your TV.
- Then connect the other side of the cable to your stereo.
Connect television and stereo system with "jack to cinch"
Since not all stereos have a jack socket, you may have to use a "jack to cinch" cable. Price about 1.50 euros.
- Connect the jack plug to the headphone output of the TV.
- Now plug the two cinch plugs into your stereo. Make sure that the red plug is in the right socket and the white (or black) in the left socket.
