- Select a chat you want and open the keyboard.
- Now tap the smiley button to the left of the input field.

- If you tap the plus symbol on the right, you can add more sticker packages to WhatsApp.
- Note: If you send a picture via WhatsApp, you can also put stickers over the picture before sending it. To do this, tap the smiley button at the top right.

Add any images you want to your collection
If the selection of WhatsApp stickers is not enough for you, you can also create your own collection with your own pictures in a few steps. All you need is the "Sticker Maker" app, which you can download for both Android and iOS.
- After installing the app, open it and choose the button "Create new sticker pack."
- You must then give your sticker pack a name and enter an author's name. This is shown when using the stickers in WhatsApp.
- Now you can select your newly created package and add stickers by tapping on the free images.
- When selecting, you are given the option to use images saved on your device as stickers. Alternatively, you can take a new photo. Then confirm with the tick at the top right.
- You can then crop your picture to bring it into a matching sticker shape. You can use a freehand tool for this, or instead select "Cut Rectangular" or "Cut Round".
- Confirm your selection with "Save".
- Add new stickers according to the same scheme until your desired collection is complete.
- You can now choose an icon for your package that represents your set. Then you can add the sticker package to WhatsApp with the item "Enter in WhatsApp".
