A brief overview will help you to make the right settings in the Strato Communicator:
- Import: Here you can import appointments, tasks or contact data from iCal, vCard or CSV files exported from Outlook
- Options: Here you can make general settings such as view, start page after login and language.
- Categories: Create categories yourself, for example "customer", "colleague" or "family". A color can be given to each category. You can now assign contacts or appointments to these categories, so there is a color distinction as to what emails and appointments are.
- Homepage: Here you can set the number of e-mails, calendar weeks, contacts and tasks displayed and create and edit UWA modules
- Email: Here you can, for example, create a signature, vacation notice and spam filter rules.
- You can make settings for calendars, contacts and tasks in the sections of the same name.
- User: Here you can enter your data from the displayed name to the company address and the date of birth.
If you are looking for alternatives to the Strato Communicator's e-mail, organizer and address book functions, Mozilla Thunderbird, the photo gallery, the MD address book 2012, or the complete Outlook 2010 package, all of which are available on CHIP, can help you.
