Subwoofer: adjust phase - how it works
If you have placed your subwoofer in an unfavorable position, you have to set the phase manually. This will minimize the unwanted phase shift that occurs when the subwoofer is far from the rest of the system.
Set the phase on the subwoofer
You cannot change the phase manually on every subwoofer. However, some speakers allow correction of the phase shift:
- Look for a switch on the back or bottom of your subwoofer that is set to "0 ° / 180 °" or similar. is labeled. This should be set to 0 ° in the basic settings.
- Move the slider to 180 ° to correct the phase shift.
If you don't want to disturb your roommates while gaming, this video shows you which headset is particularly suitable for playing.
If sounds of your music are still lost, you should place the subwoofer differently in the room. The location of several speakers relative to each other determines the phase in which the sounds appear to each other.
