Super Mario Odyssey: Overview of new amiibo characters

Nintendo's popular NFC characters are known as amiibo. A new series of figures is also planned for the long-awaited Super Mario Odyssey. We explain which amiibo it is here.

New amiibo characters in Super Mario Odyssey

• In the new Mario adventure on Nintendo Switch, your task is to rescue Princess Peach from the claws of Bowser. He is planning a big wedding in Super Mario Odyssey.
• The three new figures are also in this style. Both Mario, Peach and Bowser are elegantly dressed in white.
• The popular plumber wears a tuxedo and bowler hat as a Super Mario Odyssey Mario figure.
• The Super Mario Odyssey Peach is dressed as a bride.
• The villain Super Mario Odyssey Bowser has also dressed up.
• All three are available together in a pack of three.
• So far nothing is known about the functions in the game. It can be assumed that the characters will unlock optional gimmicks such as clothing and effects.
• All three amiibo characters appear at the same time as Super Mario Odyssey is released.
