Reset Surface Pro 3 - so the reset goes
If you have problems with your Surface Pro 3, you can delete all settings and data with a reset. We'll show you how it's done.
Hard Reset: Reset Surface Pro 3
- Start Surface Pro 3 and open the Start menu via the Windows icon.
- Here tap on "Settings" and select the category "Update and Security".
- Go to "Restore" on the left and then select the "Reset this PC" entry.
- You have the choice between "keep my files", "delete all" (including driver) or "restore factory settings".
- Once the process has started, it will take up to 30 minutes for the Surface Pro 3 to reset.
