Restart Synology - that's how it's done
There are several ways to restart your Synology NAS. We show you the possibilities.
Start Synology via the user interface - how it works
- First call up the user interface and log in with your access data.
- Now click on the person symbol in the top right corner. Several options open in the dropdown menu.
- Click "Restart" here to restart the Synology NAS.
Restart the housing - so it'll work
- Press the power button on the device and hold it until the blue LED flashes.
- Then Synology NAS shuts down.
- To start the device again, press the power button again. After a few minutes the serving is ready for use again.
Restart via DS finder - how it works
- Open the DS finder app on your iOS or Android device and tap on the Synology NAS in the server list.
- Log in your user data and confirm with "OK".
- To restart the NAS, navigate in the menu to "More -> Restart" and finally to "OK".
