If you receive the message immediately after starting the PC, you should start Windows 10 in safe mode with a network.
- Once that's done, open Windows Update and look for available updates for your PC. Then install any major updates that are available.
- At the same time, it is advisable that you check your PC for viruses and unwanted software with an antivirus program. This process can take some time.
- Tip: In addition to the normal antivirus program, you should check your PC after a successful check with the Malwarebytes Anti Malware Scanner, as malware may be responsible for this error.
- After checking and installing the updates, you should restart your PC. If the error still occurs, restart your PC in safe mode as described above.
- The error message is often related to a required driver. You should therefore only obtain all drivers for your PC from the installation DVD, from Windows Update or from the manufacturer's website.
