You can remove the AT&T Simlock on mobile phones, smartphones and tablets. We explain how it works.
Remove AT&T Simlock
To remove the simlock from devices with AT&T contracts, follow the instructions. You can find further help on the data to be entered in the picture gallery.
- Go to the AT&T Device Unlock.
- Read the terms: Postpaid contracts must have been running for at least 60 days, prepaid contracts must have been running or expired for at least 6 months.
- Confirm with a tick at "I have read and agree to the eligibility requirements to unlock my device". Click on "Continue" to continue.
- Enter your details on the following page. The "Customer Type", "Wireless Number", IMEI number and your e-mail address are important.
- Now enter the captcha and confirm by clicking on "Submit".
- Now your request number is displayed. This will also be sent to you by email.
- AT&T now compares the data you have entered with your customer file. If the data is consistent, you will receive the "Unlock Code" via email within a few days.
- You can check the status of your request by entering your IMEI and your request number.
- Once you have received the unlock code, insert a SIM card that is not from AT&T and enter the unlock code.
- The simlock has been removed.
