Use your tablet as an external hard drive - so it'll work
In this practical tip, we will show you how you can use your Android tablet as an external hard drive. This is useful, for example, if you want to exchange files and don't have a USB stick at hand.
How to use your tablet as an external hard drive
You can also transport files with your tablet at any time - just like with an external hard drive. To use the tablet as a storage medium, proceed as follows:
- Connect your tablet to the computer with a USB cable.
- Open the tablet folder on your PC.
- It is best to create a new folder within the tablet folder and copy all the elements you want to transport into it.
- If you want to call up files on another computer, connect your tablet to the corresponding PC and open the tablet folder and the created subfolder. You can then call up or copy the files you want.
