Tab key on the keyboard: where is it?
- The tab key is often abbreviated as the tab key. It is located on the top left of the keyboard, two keys below the [Esc] key.
- The tab key is identified by two arrows lying one above the other, each pointing in the opposite direction. Sometimes it is even marked with the term "tab".
- In documents, the tab key is used to indent and move text. So you can create meaningful distances and tables with little effort.
- For example, if you hold down the [Alt] key and then press the [Tab] key, you can switch between the open windows. The key combination [Windows] + [Tab] offers a similar function.
