Shortcut: Undo actions
If you have made a mistake, you can undo your entry with a key combination. In this article, we reveal what that is under Windows and MacOS.
Windows and Mac: Undo actions with a keyboard shortcut
Regardless of whether you have made a mistake, deleted something or made any other changes - you can undo your last change with a simple key combination. The trick works not only under Windows or MacOS itself, but also in many programs such as Microsoft Office or in the browser.
- Windows: You can undo your last action with the key combination [Ctrl] + [Z]. Press the buttons several times to cancel further entries.
- MacOS: On a MacBook or iMac, the key combination is [CMD] + [Z]. Here, too, you can press the buttons several times to undo further actions.
- Tip: If you undo an entry too much, you can jump one step forward again. To do this, use the key combination [Ctrl] + [Y] under Windows and [CMD] + [Y] under MacOS.
