Teamspeak 3: insert banners - how it works
This practical tip shows you how to insert a banner on your Teamspeak 3 server. For example, you can display a logo or the server rules as an image in the server overview.
Set up server banners in Teamspeak - how it works
You can optically embellish your own Teamspeak server with a banner - the only requirement is an image stored on a web server:
- Therefore, upload your banner or the desired image to an online file hoster - for example the free "Abload" service, which stores your images indefinitely.
- Then copy the link next to the entry "Direct Link" from the list of the file host and open Teamspeak 3.
- Open the options menu by right-clicking on the server (first entry in the room list) and select "Edit virtual server" here. You need admin rights on the server to carry out this action - otherwise you cannot add a banner.
- In the new window, click on "more" at the bottom left and paste the copied link to the image into the text field next to "Banner Gfx URL".
- After clicking on "Apply" and "OK" the banner appears in the right window.
