Teamspeak 3: Create prison channel
If you create a prison channel at Teamspeak 3, you can set visitors to that channel there. We explain how this works in this tip.
Lock up friends in TeamSpeak 3-Channel
- Start Teamspeak 3.
- Connect to your Teamspeak server.
- Create a new channel. Add a name and set the "Channel Type" to "Permanent".
- Click on the "Rights" tab at the top and "Channel Rights" in the context menu.
- Select your "prison channel" on the left.
- Under "Filter:" enter the search term "sticky".
- Double click on the search result "Sticky Client". A tick now appears under "Value" (see picture).
- If a visitor now goes to your prison channel, they can no longer switch to another channel. So he is locked up there, so to speak.
- He can only break out by disconnecting from the server. As an administrator, you keep coming out of the prison channel.
In the next practical tip we will show you how to avoid a spell at TeamSpeak. This tip is for TeamSpeak 3.0.16
