In this practical tip we show you how to install the Teamspeak 3 client on Linux.
How to install Teamspeak 3 Client on Linux
- Download the Teamspeak installation file for Linux. Depending on the operating system, you can download the 32-bit or 64-bit version.
- Right click on the file and then select the option "Open with another application ...". Click on the small triangle in front of "Use custom command". Write the command "sh" in the command line and press "Open".
- Use the "Return" button to show the terms and conditions and click the "Q" button to close them. If you are asked to confirm the terms and conditions, enter "yes" and press Enter. The file will now be extracted into your personal folder and Teamspeak installed.
- In the personal folder you will find the file "ts3client_runscript.sh". Open it with a double click and then select "Show".
If you want to start Teamspeak more comfortably, you can drag the "ts3client_runscript.sh" into your task bar or onto your desktop and start from there.
