TeamViewer: Read license - how it works
If you want to read out your TeamViewer license and find out whether you are using the Free or Pro version of the tool, you only need a few clicks. However, if you are looking for your license key, you have to dig deeper. We'll tell you how to get both information.
TeamViewer: Read license - how it works
The TeamViewer program is available in both a free and a paid premium version. You can find out which license is activated on your computer in the program settings.
- To do this, start TeamViewer on your computer.
- Click on "TeamViewer" at the top of the bar and then on "About TeamViewer".
- In the dialog window you will see the license information next to the release note.
TeamViewer Premium: Read license key
If you have paid for TeamViewer, you can activate the premium version using your individual license key. The code used can currently not be found either through the program itself or through other detours. The key only appears in your invoice.
- You will receive this as a PDF attachment by e-mail immediately after purchasing a Teamviewer license. You will find your unique license key on this invoice.
- You will always receive the invoice by email - regardless of whether you purchase the license by phone, fax, email or in the online shop.
- If you can no longer find the e-mail with the invoice, you must contact TeamViewer's customer service.
