Telegram: Set and change profile picture

The profile picture can be set and changed in the messenger app Telegram in just a few steps. We explain how you do this here.

Set and change Telegram profile picture

1. First start the Telegram app on your smartphone.
2. In the blue bar at the top of the screen you will find an icon on the right with three vertically arranged dots. Press on it and select the sub-item "Settings".
3. Now your profile opens with your profile picture, your mobile number and your name. To the left of your name is either your current profile picture (if you have already set one) or an empty frame so that you can see your profile picture later. Now press it.
4. Now you can choose from two menu items: Select "From camera" to create a new photo or select "From Gallery" to select an existing image from your smartphone.
