Telekom internet does not work - this is how you should proceed
An internet outage can be very annoying if you work, play or do research online. There are many possible causes. Therefore, check the following points:
- First, you should check whether all connections are set up correctly, such as the LAN cable or whether the WLAN connection is established. It is best if you reconnect the cables and push them in again. A restart of the PC can also be helpful.
- If that doesn't work, you should restart your router. Wait about ten seconds after switching off before starting it again. You may then have an internet connection again.
- If you have several PCs or devices with an Internet connection in the house, you can test whether it is only your computer or whether the problem occurs everywhere. If there is more than one device, the problem could be a malfunction.
