Telecom technician doesn't come - what to do?
This practical tip shows you what you can do if a telecom technician does not come on the agreed date.
Problems with telecom appointments - you can do that
- If the technician does not show up on the agreed date, you have various options for reacting to it.
- However, you should keep a friendly tone, even if you are annoyed by the missed appointment.
Report a problem to Telekom
If you were transferred by the technician, contact Telekom immediately.
- The fastest way to reach Telekom is via the customer service hotline. The corresponding phone number can be found on the Telekom website.
- Alternatively, you can complain to Telekom in writing. This is particularly worthwhile if an appointment has been missed several times without excuse.
- Address your written complaint to Telekom Deutschland GmbH, customer service, 53171 Bonn.
Make a new appointment
- You can usually make a new appointment directly via the Telekom hotline. Most of the time, the service staff will offer you this over the phone.
- Telekom needs a lead time for the new appointment, so it can be 7-10 days later. Agree with your customer advisor the smallest possible time window when you should be available for the technician.
The last step: turn on the lawyer
- As a rule, you should only engage a lawyer if appointments are repeatedly missed and you incur costs as a result. To do this, collect all receipts for the costs incurred in this connection.
- Any further correspondence should then only be made in writing by registered mail and return receipt and not via a hotline.
