Tera won't start - so fix the problem
Often only a few steps are required to make the game work properly again:
- First check whether there is an update for the driver of your graphics card.
- To do this, open Windows Update and look for updates. Alternatively, you can also go to the manufacturer's website.
- If all drivers are up-to-date and Microsoft's DirectX is up to date, right-click on the Tera game file.
- Finally, select "Properties" from the context menu and check "Run as administrator".
Other solutions: Tera won't start
- It can also help if you tick the "Compatibility mode". It is best to select the option "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)" and save with "OK".
- If you still can't start the game, you should try reinstalling it.
- After uninstalling, however, you will need to manually delete any remaining files and folders before you begin the reinstallation.
- In some cases, anti-virus programs or the firewall also block the game. Therefore, deactivate both services briefly.
