Find Tesla charging stations: how it works
The charging stations for Tesla are also increasing in Germany. With the Supercharger, you can charge Tesla electric cars in a short time. However, you can also use conventional charging stations.
Find charging stations for Tesla: Supercharger in Germany and Europe
The charging time of one Tesla on the Supercharger (90 kW, first generation) is 20 minutes until the battery is half full. After 40 minutes at the charging station, the battery is 80 percent charged and fully charged after 75 minutes. The latest superchargers have an output of 145 kW and charge the Tesla even faster. How to find the next charging station:
- You can find a charging station finder on our EFahrer.com portal. There you can search specifically for Tesla superchargers.
- To do this, select the "Options" field and select only "Tesla Supercharger".
- You will then see all Tesla superchargers on the map. In most cases, the superchargers are located on the highways. Click on the red Supercharger symbol to find out more about the charging station.
Charge Tesla at public charging stations
Public charging stations in Germany almost always have a type 2 plug / Mennekes plug. A corresponding cable is usually included with the Tesla, but can also be bought for about 200 euros. You can find public charging stations at:
