Underline text in Word in color
Underlining a text in Word in color is quick and easy. In this practical tip you can read how it works.
How can I underline a text in Word?
- First of all, mark the text that is to be underlined in color afterwards.
- Now move the mouse into the "Font" dialog box in which the "U" for "underline" is located and click on the arrow next to it. (see screenshot)
- A small side box opens in which you can find the "Underline color" button under the underline types. If you move the mouse over it, a color palette will open, from which you can highlight your selected text with a click of the desired color.
Custom colors in Word
Isn't the right one among the colors listed? Then instead of one color from the standard palette under "Other colors ..." you will also find others (see screenshot). Then use the color scale to determine your desired tone in the "User-defined" area.
