Have texts read out on the PC - so it'll work
If you don't want to read long texts yourself, the programs can do it for you. In this practical tip, we explain how you can have texts read to you on a PC.
MWS Reader: Read texts on the PC
You can test the demo version of the "MWS Reader" free of charge.
- Install the "MWS Reader 5" on your computer. Then start the program.
- The reader offers many options for reading out texts: You can click on the folder icon and select a text document. These are transferred to the program and read out.
- Scanned documents can also be voiced. To do this, either drag and drop them into the program or select the document using the folder icon.
- If you mark texts with the mouse, a symbol appears with which you can have the passage read to you.
- If you want to play English texts, you can select an English speaker voice from the drop-down menu in the lower left corner.
