Threema: Make a video call - you need to know that

Unfortunately, Threema does not yet offer the option of making video calls. However, normal calls are already encrypted.

Instead of video calls: make encrypted calls via Threema

There are currently video calls with Threema 3.15. not yet possible. However, you can already make encrypted calls.

• Select the contact in Threema you want to call.
• In the top right corner of the chat you will find a handset symbol with a small lock. This is to indicate that the entire conversation is encrypted.
• As soon as you tap the symbol, the call is started.
• It is not yet clear when a video call function will be introduced.
• Tip: The Messenger Signal and Wire offer you an encrypted video call function.
