Save emails in Thunderbird - how it works
To save your emails in Thunderbird, proceed as follows:
- Start Thunderbird and search for the desired mail.
- Right-click on the mail and select the "Save As" option.
- Decide on a storage location and confirm the process with "Save".
- The email has now been saved as an EML file on your computer.
- To open the EML file, you can either use Thunderbird or other mail programs such as Outlook. The EML viewer is also free of charge.
