Thunderbird: Turn off Javascript - how it works
We show you in individual steps how to switch off Javascript in Thunderbird.
Turn off Javascript in Thunderbird
- Open as the first Thunderbird on your PC.
- Click on "Tools" in the menu bar and then on "Settings" in the new menu.
- Under "Advanced" select the "General" tab and click on the "Edit configuration" button.
- Then confirm via "I'll be careful, I promise!".
- Now type the word "javascript" under "Search".
- You will now find the settings name "javascript.enabled". If the value is "false", the Javascript is already deactivated.
- If you find a "true", right click on the setting name and select "Toggle".
