Thunderbird: Show calendar again
By default, the popular Thunderbird email program comes without a calendar. However, you can quickly display a calendar that Outlook can definitely hold its own.
Provide Mozilla Thunderbird with a convenient calendar
- First click on the "Application Menu" button, which you can find in the top right corner of Thunderbird. Select "Add-ons" from the drop-down list.
- In the "Add-ons Manager" go to "Find add-ons" and then select the "Lightning" program from the Thunderbird collection displayed. Alternatively, enter "Lightning" in the search field.
- If the calendar "Lightning" is displayed, click on "Add to Thunderbird" and then click on the "Install Now" button in the "Software Installation" menu.
- Then go to the "Extensions" and you will see the calendar "Lightning" in your list. After you restart Thunderbird, the calendar will be displayed directly.
If you suffer from constantly overflowing mailbox folders, you can only display unread mails in Thunderbird.
