Thunderbird: Export profile - how it works
If you want to use Thunderbird on another computer or back up your data, you can export the profile from the software. Our instructions will help you and show you step by step how to do this.
Export profile to Thunderbird
- Close Thunderbird and simultaneously press the [Windows] and [R] keys.
- In the "Run" window, enter the command "% APPDATA% \ Thunderbird \ Profiles \".
- If you confirm with "OK", the profile folder is displayed. It bears the name "xxx.default".
- Copy the complete folder, you have successfully exported your profile.
- Note: If you want to use the profile on another computer, delete the existing profile there and insert the desired folder.
