Undo update from Thunderbird - so it'll work
- First go to Control Panel> Programs and Features.
- Search the list for "Thunderbird" and double click on it to uninstall the program.
- Then open mozilla.org and search for the desired older version.
- Once you have found the version, you have to choose whether you need a 32 or 64 bit version.
- Then search for the "de" folder and then click on Setup.exe to download it.
- Start the installation by double-clicking on the file and follow the instructions.
- After successful installation, you can use Thunderbird as usual. Your account settings have not been deleted.
