Write subscript numbers in Word - Here's how
It is relatively rare, but occasionally you have to write subscripts in Word. Then the search for the corresponding function begins. We'll show you how to quickly find subscripts in Microsoft Word.
Subscript numbers or letters in Word
- First, write the number in your Word document in the traditional way.
- Then mark the number to be subscripted.
- Then go to the "Start" tab.
- In the Word ribbon, go to the "Font" section.
- There you will see the "X2" icon that you click on (see picture).
- The corresponding number is then subscripted in your Word document.
Similarly, you can superscript numbers in Word. In the next tip you will read how this works.
