Tinder: No matches - what to do?
If you no longer receive matches at Tinder, there can be several reasons. We'll show you how to solve the problem and further data.
No matches at Tinder - it could be because of that
A match arises when you mark a person as "hot" and then you also mark them as "hot". The following reasons can exist if you do not receive any matches:
- Radius: Open the Tinder app and tap the gear icon in the top left. Under the "Discovery Preferences" you can adjust both the search radius and the desired age. The "discovery function" must be activated.
- Profile picture: The first and mostly the only thing a potential match partner sees is your profile picture. Even if your 20 other pictures put you in the right light, without an appealing profile picture it is difficult to get a match.
- Data: Tinder brings people together based on Facebook data. If you like CHIP on Facebook, you will be suggested to people in your area who have also liked CHIP. Fill out your Facebook profile thoroughly and mark your interests.
No matches at Tinder - technical problems?
- First, check your internet connection and location services. If these are deactivated on the smartphone, Tinder cannot load new matches.
- Uninstall the app and then download it again. Errors in the app are also deleted. Your data will not be lost.
- Also switch your smartphone off and on again. Problems in the buffer memory are hereby resolved into thin air.
