Tolino: screen flickers - you can do that
The flickering of the screen on the Tolino is a completely normal process and does not indicate that your device is defective. It is related to the fact that the eReader preloads a certain number of pages. If you then scroll to a page that has not yet been loaded, the screen flickers and the Tolino loads further pages in advance. You can do the following:
- Navigate to the settings of your Tolino and select the item "Screen refresh".
- Here you can see how many pages the Tolino loads in advance.
- If you have a Tolino Vision 1, you should not set the value higher than 20, otherwise the image quality will deteriorate.
- With the Tolino Vision 2 HD, on the other hand, you can easily set a value of 60, because this device has a higher performance.
- In general, you can of course try every value and see how the settings suit you best. At the end click on "Apply" and your Tolino saves the new information.
