TomTom: Report a map error - how it works
If you participate in the TomTom community, you can correct map errors and receive corrections from other users. We'll tell you what you need to set up for this.
Report a map error to TomTom
To submit map errors to TomTom, you need to join the community:
- Open the main menu and use the arrow keys to navigate to "My device and me".
- Go to "My Information".
- Confirm the release of information.
- Your map corrections are now sent to TomTom.

Under "My info" you have to set that your information will be transmitted to TomTom.
Now you have to decide whether you want to always apply corrections to other TomTom users, whether several users or TomTom employees have to verify the map change beforehand.
Only now can you scroll to "Map corrections" in the main menu, ...
... click on "correct map error" ...
... and make corrections, such as entering and removing roadblocks, traffic safeguards, turning restrictions, roundabouts and speed limits. Your changes will now be corrected and sent to TomTom.
