You can connect your TomTom navigation device to your PC to install map updates or to install new maps, languages or voices. In this practical tip, we explain how to do this.
Connect TomTom to PC and exchange data
You can easily connect all TomTom sat navs to the PC, for example to update maps, install new maps or voices. Here's how it works:
- Connect your TomTom to your computer using a USB mini cable.
- The question now appears on the TomTom: "Would you like to connect to" Computer "?"
- If you tap "Yes", the included TomTom software will automatically open on your computer if you have already installed it.
- If not, install it. You can get the program for free on the TomTom website.
