In addition to the statutory warranty, the manufacturer Tonie does not offer an additional guarantee.
- If your Toniebox no longer functions as usual, you can use the contact form to establish a connection to the manufacturer. Remote maintenance is then used to test whether a software error is possibly responsible for the defect.
- If the damage cannot be remotely resolved, contact the retailer where you bought the toy. Your contractual partner is usually your first point of contact here.
- If you purchased the device directly from the manufacturer, use the Tonie contact form. Enter your order number here - so your case can be processed as quickly as possible.

Defective Toniebox: Legal liability for material defects
The Civil Code (BGB) stipulates that the retailer's statutory warranty obligation ends after 24 months. However, there are still various things to consider.
- If the damage occurs within six months of the completion of the purchase, it is assumed that the damage already existed before the purchase. In this case, you are usually offered either a repair or an exchange of the device.
- After 6 months, however, you are obliged to provide evidence.
- Most dealers strive to keep your customer base. Often you will be offered an exchange even after a period of six months if it can be seen that you have handled the device properly.
