Toniebox doesn't work - you can do that
If your Toniebox does not work, you should try to narrow the error further to find a solution. We explain what you can do for this.
Toniebox does not work - exclude errors
The Toniebox is an audio cube for children. If there is a problem, you can always contact customer support. We'll tell you what to check in advance.
- Make sure that the Toniebox is properly connected to the charging station and is also charging. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully load the box. However, there is no display that shows you the current state of charge of the box. A steady orange light indicates a low battery level.
- Possible problems can be with the WLAN, the Toniebox-ID or e.g. B. the battery itself. If the box can still be switched on, errors are signaled using so-called code words. If the device sounds "Hedgehog", for example, this indicates a problem with the router. "Elephant" indicates that the WLAN password stored in the Toniebox no longer matches. In the support area (error messages) of Tonie 9 different code words are described in detail.
- If in doubt, completely reset the box. To do this, connect the charging station. Turn the box with your ears down. Press both ears for 10 seconds until you hear a beep and the toniebox turns off. The Toniebox is then in the delivery state again and must be set up again. To do this, briefly remove the box from the charger and then reconnect it. A short greeting should come from the speaker.
- You can reach customer support via the official Tonie website or by phone at +49 (0) 211-737 10 100. Tonie only offers the statutory warranty. Have your Toniebox ID ready.
