The soundtrack of films can be easily exchanged without re-encoding the video. We'll show you how.

You can replace the soundtrack of films with the sound from other audio and video files. The following steps are necessary for this. The following picture gallery illustrates the procedure with screenshots and shows you how you can also convert the video.
Download and install XMedia Recode for free from us.
Drag and drop the desired movie file into XMedia Recode and mark the newly created entry.
Select the original format of the video under "Format" and set the mode to "Copy" under "Video".
Under "Audio" click on "Import", then on "Open file".
Select the audio or video file you want to use as the audio track and click "Open".
Mark this file in the following window and click on "OK".
In the »Audio« area, this file is now specified as the "Source" and can be transferred to the "Output" area by clicking on the arrow key.
If you now click on "Coding" in the upper menu bar, a new video file will be created which contains the desired audio track.

Drag and drop the film file into XMedia Recode, mark the entry and select the format of the video file under »Format« or an alternative format if you want to convert the video.
Under the »Video« tab you can now leave the video format "Convert" or with the mode setting "Copy" unchanged.
Then click on the "Audio" -> "Import" -> "Open file" tab and select an audio or video file whose audio track you want to place under your film. With "Open" this file is loaded.
