If there are also unwanted toolbars on your Mac in addition to the adware, you can remove them using the following steps:
- First open the "Finder" and click on the name of your Mac on the left.
- Then select the internal hard drive and then switch to the "Programs" subfolder.
- Search for unknown programs here and drag them to the trash to uninstall them.
- Then open the Safari browser and click on "Extensions" under "Settings".
- Again, you should delete unknown extensions immediately. To do this, select the respective add-on and start the deinstallation with the "Uninstall" button.
