- The mouse is also space-saving, since the PC is only controlled via the trackball. So you don't need a mouse pad or a lot of space on the table.
In comparison: disadvantages of the trackball mouse
- A disadvantage of these devices is that they are different for right-handed or left-handed people. If multiple people use the mouse, this can be problematic because lefties cannot use a right-handed mouse.
- You also need to take a settling-in period into account. The use of the trackball is intuitive, but very unusual for beginners.
- The mouse is also rather unsuitable for video games. It is possible to control certain games with it, but most games are not designed for a trackball mouse.
