Trigger: Use NFC with PIN lock - how it works
If you use triggers for NFC tags, you must first unlock the PIN on the smartphone. Then the day is recognized and can be executed. With a small additional app you can bypass the PIN lock.
Bypass the trigger app with "Tasker" - this is how you set up the additional app
To be able to use triggers efficiently, you still need the "Tasker" app (currently € 2.99) and the "Secure Settings" plug-in.
- First remove triggers from your smartphone and install "Tasker".
- Call the sub-item "Misc." and allow "External Access". Then create a new task in the main menu with "+".
- Enter a name, e.g. B. "Pin on / off", confirm and select "Edit task" in the menu.
- Select "+" here to tap the "Secure Settings" plug-in in "Action Category".
- In the "Edit action" menu, press the pencil icon and look for the "Keyguard" sub-item in the "All Actions" category. Change the status to "Toogle" and go back to the home screen.
Integrate the NFC command into the trigger
Now you only have to add "Pin on / off" as a task for trigger. To do this, download the app first.
- Then press "My tasks" in the profile and enter a new task with "+" ("PIN on / off").
- Tap "Set Up Task" and choose "+"> "Tasker"> "Tasker Task"> "Next".
- Under "Configure actions" you only have to tap the magnifying glass icon and look for the task task (PIN on / off).
- Now select "Add to task". The PIN lock is then unlocked first. If you want to add a connection task, you can do this in the next step with "+".
The small ABC around "Near Field Communication" (NFC) can be found in this article. The instructions are based on Android KitKat 4.4 with a Google Nexus 5.
