For an assembly game, Tropico 5 has surprisingly high system requirements. If you lower the resolution a bit and adjust the graphics settings, you can also play the game on older computers. Our overview shows the exact system requirements and the recommended hardware.
System requirements for Tropico 5
- Processor: Tropico 5 can already be played with a dual-core CPU with 2 GHz. However, high graphics settings require at least a quad-core processor with 2.5 GHz.
- Graphics card: The basic requirement for the setup game is a GeForce 400, AMD Radeon HD 4000 or the onboard solution Intel HD 4000, as long as it supports DirectX 11. However, all graphics cards from the GeForce 500 and the AMD Radeon HD 5000 are better.
