Tropico on iPad - gameplay
If you have already played a Tropico part on the PC or a console, you know what to expect: A tropical island with rhythmic background music that will lead you to fame and fortune (especially for yourself) after you take power as El Presidente should. Unfortunately, your residents are increasingly demanding and you have to satisfy needs, bribe them or even get rid of a competitor.
- As on the PC, you have access to numerous statistics and decrees with which you can influence your fortunes.
- The consultants and the feedback from the population also help you to set priorities.
- The control with the touchscreen is particularly exciting, as it is very intuitive and can be learned quickly. At the bottom of the screen you have the menu with various sub-items.
- So build your own avatar with strengths (e.g. charisma) and weaknesses (e.g. flatulence) and get started.
- In the beginning you usually start with the necessary companies such as farms or fisheries. Find a place on the map where you can get the products you want.
- Then watch your construction workers at work. Build houses nearby and keep an eye on the needs of your population or the size of your military.
