If you have received a reminder from Tropmi Payment, you should not panic immediately. In this article we show you which steps you can take.
Reminder from Tropmi Payment: You can do that
- First of all, you should keep calm. Just because you have received a reminder does not mean that you are inevitably obliged to pay the amount requested.
- If you have received an email from Tropmi Payment, it is generally advisable to simply ignore it. You should also not pay the requested amount.
- If you have received a reminder in the mail, but you are certain that you have not subscribed, as the letter claims, you can dispute the claim in writing. The Rhineland-Palatinate Consumer Advice Center offers ready-made letters for this on its website.
- If you have received a payment order from a German district court, you should lodge an objection in writing within the normally 14-day period. A corresponding form should usually be enclosed with the letter.
- In the case of a lawyer's letter, it is generally advisable to submit a modified injunction by registered letter, similar to streaming warnings.
