Tupperware guarantee and exchange: you need to know
You have a guarantee on Tupperware and can exchange the products. This is possible even after many years of use. In this guide, we explain where and how you proceed. Another option is to use a trick to refresh the Tupperware. We show that in the video.
Tupperware: guarantee and warranty
Whether you can exchange the Tupperware depends on whether the guarantee or warranty applies.
- Guarantee: The Tupperware guarantee is in principle subject to all products that Tupperware markets itself and that are not otherwise identified.
- The guarantee states that you can exchange these products for a new product free of charge if there is a material defect and your product is unusable as a result.
- Defects caused by personal negligence do not count. So if your product breaks due to falling or improper use, you are not entitled to a replacement product.
- Warranty: Products with a warranty are marked separately. These are mostly products such as graters or planes that are worn out by everyday use.
- This warranty is granted for two years. If you notice a material defect in these two years, you will also receive a new product.
- After this statutory two-year warranty, however, you can no longer complain about the product and only request replacement parts that are subject to a charge.
Tupperware: Exchange product
You can only return Tupperware via consultants, so-called "Party Managers".
- Ideally, contact the consultant from whom you bought the product. With a completed order form, you can exchange and replace products.
- You can also consult these advisors to find out whether your product is under warranty or guarantee.
- If you don't know your advisors, you can find them on the Tupperware website.
- To do this, visit the Tupperware website and click on "Find PartyManager".
- Enter your zip code and you will see the contact information for your advisors.
